A collection of (17) individual issues of one of Germany's most important design trade journal devoted to printers and typographers. Lot includes: 1927: #1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12; 1928: #2, 3, 6, 12; and 1929: #11. Issues cover traditional and modern typography, the printing trade, illustration and printmaking, graphic design and more. Heavily illustrated with black and white and color work samples throughout — would make most typographers happy. Featuring numerous trade advertisements for typefaces: Kabel, Beton, Lux, Futura, Die schöne Grotesk, Garamond, Erbar, Fanfare, Metropolis, Venus, Bernhard Schriften and others.

A very good collection of original brittle journals with detached front and back covers from four issues. Some brittle paper edges and toning to extremities but overall complete and clean interior pages.
