The thirteenth international exhibition of modern decorative and industrial arts and of modern architecture took place at Palazzo dell’Arte al Parco, Milano, Italy from June 12 to September 27, 1964. With an Italian introductory essay by Umberto Eco and Vittorio Gregotti followed by an essay re: the approach to the subject and exhibition design of the Thirteenth Triennale Exhibition: "Leisure". Individual sections and themes with detailed information and works from each country's pavilion: France, USA, Mexico, Belgium, Finland, Brazil, Yugoslavia, Germany, Austria, Great Britain, Holland, Switzerland, Canada and Italy. An excellent and practical example of Vignelli's classic simplicity and use of a grid system; published a year before he (and his wife Lella) moved to New York City in 1965. Heavily illustrated with (217) black and white photographs and architectural diagrams with pp. 68 of excellent Italian trade advertising towards the back.

A nearly fine silver cloth hardcover with light wear at the corners and a small previous booksellers label. Interior pages tight and bright.
