Uncommon. A small promotional portfolio booklet for Ruffins/Taback Incorporated, the productive New York City design and illustration office founded in 1963 by Cooper Union friends and alumni Reynold Dash Ruffins, an early member of Push Pin Studios and Simms Taback, a commercial illustrator.
Illustrated throughout with (48) black and white works; mostly one per page featuring: promotional materials, newspaper and magazine advertising and announcements, books and book jackets, annual report covers, folders and mailers, holiday cards, network telops, album cover, packaging and more. Featuring a striking, full-page black-and-white photograph by Dave Barba of Ruffins and Taback, buttoned up and seated in their New York City studio against a wall of work.

A near fine, promotional portfolio booklet with a tiny tear to the spine head and only light wear to the front and back white glossy covers. Interior pages are unmarked; hard to find!
