Paul Klee Drawings by Will Grohmann, 1960. 1st English ed. translated from the German by Norbert Guterman, Harry N. Abrams Inc., New York. 10.5 x 11.25, pp. 176. Printed and bound in West Germany. An inscription signed in ink by Saul Bass & Associates on the front free endpaper. "March 15, 1965 / Best Wishes from Saul Bass & Associates" with (12) employee signatures underneath. 

With a Preface, several texts on Klee including: Paul Klee, the Draftsman; Music and the Nature of Form; The Role of Titles: Klee as Poet; The Drawings; Technique, and Conclusion. Heavily illustrated with a tipped-in frontispiece, (18) black and white reproductions in the text followed by (117) individual plates.

A near fine copy with light edge wear and soiling to the top edge and spine head. A few small tears and loss to the back of the original, red printed acetate dust jacket. Illustrated boards and interior pages are clean and complete.
