It is only appropriate that the greatest city in the world should have a great Jazz Festival.”

Brown; Washington Jazz by Paul Sampson; No Coast Jazz by Jerry Berger and Tommy Wolf and Voices of Silence by Nat Hentoff. Additionally, there are (3) superb photographic portfolios by: Chuck Lilly, Carole Galletly and Ken Heyman.
A beautifully designed publication with credits by: Jacques Willaumez, Robert Brownjohn, Ivan Chermayeff, Palumbo/Davis, Robert Parent and Lee Friedlander. The back cover displays a full-page advertisement by Brownjohn for “Jacques Willaumez Associates Incorporated Designers, NYC.” This original item was featured in my book The Moderns (p. 138).
A very good magazine with light wear to the covers with small chips along the edges and spine and a vertical tear to the upper corner back cover. Residue from glue to the first page. Interior bright and clean!
