Technology and Human Affairs, Volume 1, Number 3, Fall 1969. This Alumni magazine was published quarterly from 1969-1975 by the Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT), Chicago, Ill., USA. 9 x 12, 40 pages. Design consultant: Chad Taylor. The cover features Oskar Schlemmer’s Dématérialisation (Les signes de l’Homme) from 1924.

Uncommon. Technology and Human Affairs spotlights the university’s concern with engineering and science in the modern world. The magazine includes contents by and for alumni, including articles by prominent people in various fields. This issue features 14 pages focusing on “Fifty Years Bauhaus,” the international design and art exhibition held ain S. R. Crown Hall on IIT’s campus from August 25 through September 26th. Illustrated with black and white photographs from the show (and more) and statements on the history of the Bauhaus, its principles and philosophy. Content includes but not limited to:

A good only magazine with some scratches and light wear to the covers and page corners. A light vertical crease throughout with some waviness and a few light damp stains along the bottom half of most pages. A previous owner's mailing label on the back cover. A good reference copy; uncommon in any condition.
