An excellent collection featuring (289) works from the Japanese Graphic Idea Exhibition 1984 — many with short project summaries from well-known and lesser-known designers; too many too list with credits towards the back. Heavily illustrated throughout with black and white and some color with sections devoted to: Posters, Magazine Advertising, Editorial Design, Promotion and Graphic Design and Packaging Design.

Multiple texts with author photographs, Japanese and American Jurors’ Portraits, some short testimonials on the exhibition including in situ photos from the welcome dinner and opening at the Master Eagle Gallery in New York:
