Since 1951, the International Design Conference in Aspen (IDCA) founded by Walter Paepcke, president of the Container Corporation emulated the Bauhaus philosophy by promoting a close collaboration between modern art, design, and commerce and served as a forum for designers to discuss and disseminate current developments in the related fields of graphic arts, industrial design, and architecture.

A near fine poster with light wear near the edges, small crease and old tape on the back corners. Poster will be rolled and shipped in a tube. The poster's larger size is included in the collection at the Museum of Design, Zurich (Object No. G-2709).
