Founded in 1937, the Allianz or Association of modern Swiss Artists advocated the concrete art theories of Max Bill. “The groups posters and catalogs, all by either Lohse or Bill, maintained an elegant austerity, planting the mathematical systems of Concrete art more firmly in Swiss graphic design.” (Hollis, Swiss Graphic Design, 2006)

A very good, original vintage catalog with light soiling and handling to the white covers and a toned spine. The back cover wrapper is starting to pull from the dried glue binding. Interior pages are well preserved. A small, previous book seller’s label affixed to last page. An important book and hard to find in the USA.
