Started by Push Pin Studios as a freeform publication sent to friends and clients in 1957, the experimental and groundbreaking Push Pin Graphic, ran for 23 years and 86 issues; eventually published as a 32-page bimonthly in 1976 (offered here), before ceasing publication in 1980.

Art directed and designed by Seymour Chwast, Push Pin Graphic featured articles supporting a specific theme for each issue. Many illustrations by Chwast, as well as other illustrators and photographers including black and white and color examples: Haruo Miyauchi, Bill Sloane, David Croland, Milton Glaser, Fred Marshall, Benno Friedman, Jeffrey Krassner, Henry Wolf, Michael Hostovich, Paula Scher/Seymour Chwast, John Collier,  Emanuel Schongut, Richard Mantel and others.
