From the interior: “What is a Typographics Agency? Lubalin, Burns & Company works like an advertising agency. We're paid by the suppliers, just as ad agencies are paid by the media. Our cost-saving supervision systems will pay you to have us set your type. We can give you all the services you expect from your present type supplier. Plus others you wouldn't think of asking for.”
The Introductory text explains the company, it’s founders and the Typo services offered. Followed by more than 75 black and white examples featuring their Graphics work: Trademarks & Logos, Corporate Design, Annual Reports, Package Design, Architectural Graphics, Advertising Design, Promotion, Poster Design, Editorial Design, Books, Book Jackets, Typeface Design and Film & Television. The booklet ends with detailed text about services offered (Words-In-Galley, Ligatured Headlines, Repro Prints, New Faces, Special Effects, etc.), procedures and fees charged.
A good stapled softcover with moderate wear and light soiling to the off-white covers and along the edges. A few bends and handling to the upper corner of the cover and pages throughout.
