(2) rare works of ephemera designed by Herb Lubalin (Herb Lubalin, Sudler & Hennessey, Inc.) for New York City’s “Inspired Typography ’56” … an exhibition of outstanding typographic work produced coast to coast during the year 1955.
For both designs, Lubalin interpreted the California Job [Type] Case in an eclectic way that displayed individual capital and lowercase letters, special characters, engravings, symbols and punctuation marks for multiple sizes of type.
