Theater Basel 06-07 : Book and Ephemera Collection [Müller + Hess]

A unique collection of the 2006-2007 seasonal programs and ephemera for Theater Basel, Basel, Switzerland. This lot includes: the Program Preview softcover book, Accordion Folded Seasonal Monthly Calendars (September and October), Stapled Booklets (French Season; Ticket Information and Subscriptions), Information Cards for Ordering Tickets, and Various Self-Reply Mailers.

Concept, typographic system and design by the Swiss graphic design studio Müller+Hess; Beat Müller and Wendelin Hess who have played (and continue to play) an important role in shaping contemporary Switzerland’s art and cultural sectors (i.e. music festivals, theaters, galleries, magazines) including their well known contributions to the Art Basel international art fair.

Various sizes, bindings and page counts. Printed with red, blue, green, yellow and black with some duplicates. Overall, excellent condition with only light handling to a few of the ephemeral works. The main book is included in the collection at the Museum of Design, Zurich, Switzerland (Object No. G MUEL 34).
