Eurodomus 4: International Pilot Exhibition of the Modern House : mostra pilota della casa, 1972. Organized by Torino Exhibitions and Domus Magazine, 24 x 36. Printed in Italy by A. Nava / Milano. Superb design by Giulio Confalonieri (1926—2008).
Eurodomus was inaugurated in Genoa in 1966 and inspired by Domus magazine’s efforts to promote good modern design. The international exhibition featured industrial and handmade products which best answered the needs of the modern dwelling; targeting the trade and public ... architects, designers, and manufacturers.
Confalonieri’s colossal geometric abstraction announces the Torino exhibition from May 18—28, 1972 which included close to 200 exhibitors featuring the emerging Italian radical architecture groups and practitioners who questioned the impact and social conditions of artistic and design fields.
Rare. An original poster in good condition with wrinkles and creases mostly to the lower half of the poster surface, a tear to the top edge (above the letter “m” in Eurodomus) and some wear along the margins. Poster will be rolled and shipped in a tube. Would look lovely framed!
