“NYCTA Standard is a typeface based specifically on the glyph designs and spacing system presented in the 1970 New York City Transit Authority Graphics Standards Manual designed by Unimark International for the NYCTA’s signage system. The digital typeface was used for the reprint edition of the Standards Manual, and served as the starting point for NYC Sans, a typeface originally commissioned by New York City’s official tourism agency, NYC & Company, as their brand typeface.” — Nick Sherman
A fine, uncirculated original letterpress, limited edition print.
