There is a 1974 edition with additional pages and projects; printed with maroon silkscreen wrappers.

Uncommon. Summaries throughout introducing studio solutions and beliefs as well as reflections on symbols and logos. “The true graphic designer must be able to deal with an endless variety of problems which often have great cultural and economic significance.”

With a list of Awards, Some of the Accounts Served and a Statement by Malcolm Grear dated May, 1964. Heavily illustrated throughout with full-page black and white studio photographs, and more than (200) project examples featuring many Rhode Island businesses and institutions: Publication Design, Corporate Identity, Signage, Package Design and more, each with short bibliographic captions. These works represent Malcolm Grear Designers as a highly respected firm known for its American modern sensibilities starting in the early 1960s.

A good blue silkscreen folded wrapper with good loose signatures laid-in; missing one folded signature and the plastic slide binder that once held everything together. With moderate wear and handling to the covers, spine and loose pages (mostly to the first few) along the edges and corners with some toning and small closed tears. Condition noted and price adjusted — this is a bargain! We are also offering the same booklet, albeit much better condition here.
