Rare. An elaborate design compendium with multiple contributors including but not limited to: Hiromu Hara, Masaru Katsumi, Yusaku Kamekura, Kohei Sugiura, Hiroshi Ochi, Ryuichi Yamashiro, Hideo Mukai, Takashi Kono, Kenji Ito, Iwataro Koike and Masaaki Tanaka. A complete set of five individual volumes: 1. Visual Design, 2. Illustration, 3. Photo + Design, 4. Graphic Element and 5. Package + Display. Each volume is lavishly illustrated with approx. (250) black and white and some color including a diverse selection of International and Japanese works, many lesser-known and most with captions.

Nearly fine white hardcover volumes with light wear. Each volume in their original very good publisher's illustrated cardboard slipcase with moderate wear and handling around the edges and corners (Volume 4 and 5 have the most wear). Some underlining throughout from a previous owner. Volumes are tightly bound with slightly wavy paper near the gutter. Hard to find in the United States. Highly recommended!
