With an Introduction by Fischli (Director of Museum) and Willy Rotzler (Conservator of Museum) and a chronology of kinetic art since 1900. Followed by two brief texts: Alexander Calder Mobiles and Stabiles by Carola Giedion–Welcker and Edition MAT Reproduced Works by Daniel Spoerri.
With photographs of artists, brief profiles and text, and black and white illustrated works from: Alexander Calder, Jacoov Agam, Josef Albers, Pol Bury, Marcel Duchamp, Bo Ek, Karl Gerstner, Heinz Mack, Enzo Mari, Frank Malina, Bruno Munari, Man Ray, Diter Rot, Raphaël-Jésus Soto, Jean Tinguely, and Victor Vasarely. Müller’s excellent typographic cover perfectly expresses the idea of movement in kinetic art.
A good only, moderately handled softcover with some soiling and wear to the covers, rubbing along the spine and a lightly bumped corners throughout. Paper scraped off the back cover corner with a small barcode label attached.
